KINDduro: Discreet Remote Control for Hearing Aids
The KINDduro App, developed by Lehiso AS, is a free Android application that provides discreet remote control for your hearing aids. With this app, you can adjust the volume of your hearing aids independently, switch between listening programs, monitor your battery level, and even locate your hearing aids if they get lost.
In addition to these basic features, the KINDduro App offers several other functionalities. It allows you to access specific programs that help divert your attention from tinnitus, provided they are enabled by your hearing care professional during the fitting session. You can also control wireless accessories paired with your hearing aids, such as multiple TV adapters or devices like Oticon EduMic or ConnectClip, which can be used for streaming and as remote microphones.
For a personalized listening experience, the app includes a streaming equalizer that allows you to fine-tune the sound when watching a movie or streaming audio. Moreover, the KINDduro App can connect to a wide variety of Internet-connected solutions through the Internet of Things.
